Bee Day at Fraser Valley Rec Summer Camp

Kids participating in the Fraser Valley Rec Summer Day Camp enjoyed an afternoon learning about bees with Middle Park Conservation District on July 2nd.  MPCD District Manager and local beekeeper, Katlin Miller,

  • Taught kids about the importance of bees for pollination and life in general
  • Showed them the ins and outs of beekeeping
  • Shared some delicious snacks made with honey
  • Helped them make their own bee craft
