Division 5 Draft Proposed Measurement Rules Available

The Colorado Division of Water Resources has published a draft of the new proposed measurement rules for Division 5.

The purpose of the proposed rules is to provide consistent standards for the measuring of diversions throughout Division 5 which encompasses the mainstem of the Colorado River and its tributaries within Colorado.

A copy of the draft rules and information regarding stakeholder meetings are available on the DWR-Division 5 webpage, under Water Administration Rulemaking. Additionally, both a word document of the draft rules and a PDF listing the stakeholder meetings are attached to this email. Please submit comments on the proposed rules to Marie Sullivan at marie.sullivan@state.co.us or through the comment form.
