Imagine a Day Without Water
According to the Imagine a Day without Water website, "We often take our invisible water and wastewater systems for granted. We turn on the tap and water comes out. We flush the toilet, and it goes away. It's often out of sight and out of mind. But, disasters like Hurricanes Maria, Irene, and Harvey, and crises like what happened in Flint, Michigan, shine a bright light on what it would be like to live without safe and reliable water and wastewater services. During Imagine a Day Without Water, millions of Americans participated in raising awareness about the value of water and the need to invest in water infrastructure so no communities have to imagine—or live—a day without water again."
